ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵguest families are carefully chosen and monitored through regular inspections and student feedback. You will live in a single room (with a key) and share other facilities with the family. The host families in Peru generally provide two meals a day. However, they can also cater to extra meals and special diets, such as vegetarians and diabetics (there is a surcharge for a vegan diet).

While living with host families in Peru, our students speak Spanish with their hosts in total immersion. There's no better way to improve your Spanish language skills and learn about the local culture outside of class!

Host Family - Plus

The host family plus package offers students a slightly higher comfort level than the standard option. For example, your bedroom might be larger while the home generally provides more comfort, such as a courtyard, a terrace, or a small garden. In addition, the food is more adapted to the student's desires, and host family Plus packages include a laundry service (through AMAUTA) once per week.

The host family plus is especially suited for those who want to be away from the bustling city center and enjoy a bit more comfort in the city's more quiet residential areas. The host families that offer the 'plus' services to live a bit further away from the city center, still offering the option to be at school within 25-35 minutes. You can reserve a host family plus and request a private bathroom (subject to availability).
